Random Walkings

Iraqi official Mithal Al-Alusi visited Israel, and called for establishing diplomatic relations between Iraq & Israel. The US' great ally Ahmed Chalabi reacted by throwing him out of the Iraqi National Congress Party.

Today, an assassination attempt on Al-Alusi’s life resulted in the killing of his sons.

He is quoted as saying afterwards:

"I will repeat it, even if these terrorists try to kill me again, peace is the only solution. Peace with Israel is the only solution for Iraq. Peace with everybody, but no peace for the terrorists," said a shell-shocked Al-Alusi.
